Robert’s background is in the auto industry and he has successfully built and sold several businesses in this sector. He is no longer actively involved in the automotive sector and as such is fully focused on Mulberry and plays an instrumental role in its growth.
Mark is also from the automotive sector. Alongside Robert he plays a key role in seeking out new opportunities but also takes primary responsibility for dealing with planners and political bodies.
Jon is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong commercial background. Having worked in professional practice and industry, Jon has substantial commercial experience – he is instrumental in the commercial and financial appraisal of potential developments and for the financial management and stewardship of the company.
Land & Operations Director
Steve has over 25 years’ experience in the development sector, mainly holding senior board positions with both private and public house building companies. He successfully set up a new operating region for Henry Boot Homes taking full responsibility for the operating region and also held the position of Land & Development Director for Persimmon Homes (Midlands) Limited.
Tony is a qualified management accountant responsible for the finances across the group, with strong commercial and business experience gained from a wide range of sectors, having worked in engineering, logistics, civil engineering and construction.
Mark is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with a broad range of commercial development expertise accumulated over a 30 year career in the industry. Mark previously worked for St Modwen Properties plc and has acquired an understanding of developing large and challenging sites which require extensive ground remediation and improvement.
Mark plays a key role in the development of commercial sites, leading teams of consultants to the successful completion of projects.
Phil started his career at Tesco PLC where he spent 4 years project managing the delivery of new stores and extensions of all sizes including mixed use projects and the world’s first zero carbon supermarket. Phil then moved on to lead the store refresh programme at a time where Tesco was refurbishing over 300 stores a year.
Phil’s role at Mulberry is to identify and acquire new opportunities whilst also maximising the value of our developments through the planning and delivery stages ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest of standards.
Stephen’s background is in commercial management and project delivery and he joined Mulberry in 2016 from Crest Nicholson. During his 9 years at Crest, Stephen was Project Director on a number of award winning major regeneration projects including the 1,600 unit mixed use Park Central scheme in Birmingham and the 1,000 unit mixed use scheme at Oakgrove in Milton Keynes. Prior to Crest Stephen worked in the major projects arm of Countryside Properties Northern.
Stephen’s role at Mulberry is to identify, bring forward and manage the delivery of mixed use residential and commercial schemes.
Head of Legal Services
Liam is a solicitor and joined Mulberry in 2016 from city law firm BLP. During his eleven years at BLP, Liam advised significant clients such as Hermes, Tesco, Land Securities and Argent on various property matters including large scale commercial, residential and mixed use developments. Prior to that Liam was at Eversheds.
Liam’s role at Mulberry is to manage relationships with external law firms and ensure that legal matters are dealt with promptly to the required standard. Liam is also responsible for the identification and management of legal risk to the business and for advising the directors on legal matters.
